Sharrae is a mage and I have tried Fire/Frost/Arcane and Fire/Arcane takes up a ton of mana and Frost is the spec I found that was the best in saving mana. Arcane/Fire are about the same in mana consumption unless I missed something in a patch which is quite possible. I don't claim to know all about any class even the ones I play
